In this lesson students will learn how to: identify metals and non-metals on the periodic table; explain trends in the reactivity of groups 1 and groups 7 in the periodic tables; and learn why the noble gasses are unreactive. You will need to download a video from YouTube, showing the reactivity of the stronger alkali metals.
