Probability
Key Stage: 2 ★★★

In this game two players each choose three numbers, and score a point if two dice add up to one of these numbers. Which are good or bad numbers to choose?

This game offers a good context in which to explore possible outcomes and to think systematically about what scores are possible. It will be important for learners to develop a recording or listing system that they are happy with, in order to find all the possible ways in which the different totals can be made.

A great game for children in KS2! The children will start by picking high numbers but will soon realise that there are better numbers to choose than others! Thanks for sharing a very useful resource.
