Presentation designed for use as a starter/plenary activity in KS3/4 English. There is potential for use as an activity during a cover period, black and white printable copies of the slides are available as possible homework, research or cover tasks.
The students are presented with a selection of 30 everyday objects and a list of the 30 “correct” names for these objects. They are challenged to “top and tail” the correct name to the object. This presentation was developed from a research lesson given to students as a purposeful activity during a period of staff absence. The whole presentation contains36 slides and hyperlinks are embedded throughout.
