An entire 6 lesson unit on the topic Reggae with included scheme of learning, lesson by lesson Powerpoints and a pupil work booklet. The unit focuses on singing skills and the ability to play chords in an off-beat pattern. All learning objectives are levelled and differentiated.
I have not included the sheet music for the practical task or audio files for the listening activities due to copyright, however, these can all be found online. My pupils perform a version of “Buffalo Soldier” in the key of C major with simple off beat chords.
