The lesson objectives are:
- What is meant by the resolution of forces
- How to resolve a force
- About the forces on an object in equilibrium
- How to use a force diagram to work out whether or not an object is in equilibrium
As the content is for higher science students, the lesson has been aimed at higher achieving students. The PowerPoint goes through both the scale drawing and trigonometry approach of resolving a forces. The answers at the end relate the the summary questions on page 131 of the GCSE physics book.
