This is a visual and themed book list and recommendations A3 poster.
It is appropriate for all secondary school aged children, and showcases a range of standard chapter books and graphic novels for teens.
They are all LGBTQA+ inclusive and feature characters with this representation, e.g. main characters that are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, non-binary and a-sexual. There are some books that also feature LGBTQA+ family members, friends and teachers. All of these books are well written, modern, positive and diverse.
This poster can be put up in classrooms, communal areas and libraries, and is intended not just for Pride Month, but at any time of the year around your school. Make sure to have some of the books available in your school library so that teens can read and enjoy these fantastic stories.
