A great activity to reinforce the teaching of different sentence types. It can be played in a small group or as a whole class starter/plenary. Cut up the sentences, put them in a bag and then the children take turns to pick a card and then say what type of sentence it is. I left the punctuation off on purpose!. There are 10 commands, exclamations, questions and statements. There are also 4 prompt cards as a reminder!
