In this unit, Stone Age Boy, we begin by making predictions, then move on to focusing on using different sentence structures: simple compound and complex. A guided reading focus is included, with cross curricular (history) links and the children study features of a non-chronological report. The unit culminates in the children writing their own non-chronological reports on a Stone Age Animal.
