Pupils work in pairs on computers to use the Carrefour supermarket website to find the answers to the questions - every now & then I stopped them and asked a bonus question (such as 'what does 'mon panier' mean?' or 'what's the name of the section where you'd buy things for a baby?') and the first pair to come to me with the answer got points. The whole activity went down very well é it really helped pupils to see how they could use their French in a practical way.
