Sita Kuratomi Bhaumik is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and writer based in the Bay Area, born and raised in Los Angeles. She's thankful that she has family in India, Columbia, and Japan because it gives her a good excuse to travel, cook, and eat herself silly. On December 10, 2011, ten Bay Area taste-makers give five-minute presentations about the impact of Indian culture and art on their creative work.
