this is a visual resource to teach an alternative method for teaching addition and subtraction of fractions where diagonal and horizontal multiplication of the dominators and nominators are employed as well as multiplications of dominators to work out the sum in an easy visual way explaining how the principle of equivalent fractions can be used to carry out the sum where fractions with different dominators are added or subtracted.

This is great for doing fractions, I had a weak class doing them within 1 hr and they remembered 4 weeks later!
