This resource includes a SMART notebook file with the story broken down into parts, with one slide for each part of the story. Each slide contains the main story image, a colourful semantic frame, and a choice of images to build the sentence to match the picture. This helps children to build sentences and say them orally and is suitable for young children, including those with speech and language difficulties and/or EAL. It comes complete with a story map using the colourful semantic images, which links to the “Talk4Writing” style of retelling stories. In addition to this, there is a written script for teachers to use to support with the retelling of the story.

This looks like a great resource however I cannot open the .notebook resource. I have tried on a SMART board, I have tried using several notebook apps, nothing is working. I can't find an email to contact the author so I am hoping this review is seen and the author can get in contact with me please to assist me in opening the file. Thank you.
