The Weimar Constitution

Dear Colleague,

This is the second lesson on the Weimar Republic, designed to make learning engaging and interactive. Students will explore life in Germany after WWI through fun matching activities that build key knowledge. The lesson finishes with tailored exam question practice, helping students apply what they’ve learned with confidence.

All lessons are interactively assessed and have the same structure to get the students taught in a coherent manner, help them understand where they are at, during the delivery:

LO 1: understand the Weimar constitutional system.
LO 2: To Identify the Strengths and weaknesses of the new Weimar Constitution.
LO 3: To create two Exam model answers (4 and 8 marks).

Three progressive tasks follow the Bloom taxonomy covering all different learning styles.
All tasks are assessed.
A very straight forward lesson.
The resources are at the end of the Power Point, ready to print and start. Extension task is included.
