This is a video lesson series on trigonometry in right-angled triangles made for Year 9 Intermediate to Higher pupils studying the WJEC GCSE in maths. I assume almost no prior knowledge of trigonometry and begin with how to label triangles and an explanation of Pythagoras’ Theorem. By the end of the four lessons, pupils should be able to use the sine, cosine and tangent ratios to find missing sides and angles of right-angled triangles and apply this to GCSE-style problems.

Pupils can work through the worksheets and mark their answers using the worked solutions I do in the videos. I have also included the ActivInspire flip-charts for teachers to use, both my annotated versions with answers and the originals.

Some of the questions are from KhanAcademy, MathsWatch, Mymaths and from old textbooks, but the rest of the content is my own.
