Value & Shading Sketchbook Worksheet

This value and shading sketchbook worksheet will allow your students to practice hatching, cross-hatching, smudging, scumbling and blending as they learn about shading forms, creating value and mark making. This two-page worksheet is made to fit onto a standard, letter-size piece of copy paper. Cut it in half and use it as pages in a mini DIY sketchbook (pages are roughly 6 inches by 9 inches). You could also glue or paste these value/shading worksheets into your standard sketchbook.
