This is a lesson for KS3 RE, and it is aimed at trying to encourage independent learning. This is an interactive lessons, in which discussion are had about Jesus' ancestors and where in the world he came from, as well as introducing students to the concept of a 'prophecy' and the prophecies of Jesus' birth. Students then have to read 2 accounts of Jesus' birth from the gospels, and compare and contrast them using a Venn diagram to record their ideas.
