This is brilliant - thank you. I'm starting to lead media from scratch in my school and I'm finding it tough to introduce concepts. Elements of this have really helped me to begin looking at the technical aspects of media before moving into the Quality Street and This Girl Can set pieces.

Great introduction to denotation and connotation. You could easily select aspects of this resource for a year 9 taster session or as an introductory unit at year 10. Lots of detailed examplars showing various level of responses which are really useful (both as annotations and exam type responses) and saved me having to write them myself. Whilst it is specific to the EDUQAS spec it could easily be adapted or used as examples for any analytical media course.
