Based on Literacy Shed’s ‘Alma’, this suspense narrative WAGOLL is aimed at supporting Year 6 children in reaching the Expected Standard. It is pitched at a High Exp/GD level, allowing for exposure to varied sentence structures and writing techniques to push their writing on.
The narrative is written in the first person, as Alma, describing the events leading up to - and including - her touching the doll in the toy shop.
