Aimed at preparing Year 6 pupils for the reading and GPS papers, this lesson spans over 2-3 hours. Questions designed to have a focus on find, locate, structure and organisation and a fun drama activity to learn/revise grammar and punctuation. The lesson involves a reading of chapters 3 and 4 of 'The Phantom Tollbooth'. A whole novel reading is not necessary for these lessons.
