It can be used as a starter or plenary to open a discussion about Spain´s traditions for Christmas, but also as a tutor activity that can be done with students during registration if you’d like to make this a whole-school activity to promote languages. Students must find different words relating to La Navidad in the word search looking for them across, vertically, horizontally and diagonally. Some letters are used twice to suit two words, so please let your students know that. It shouldn’t take students more than 10 minutes to complete and if you’d like to expand the activity you could always explain why these words are specific to La Navidad. Christmas End of Term Escape Room - If you’re looking for a fun way to end the term, look no further! This Escape Room is designed to give your students 40+ minutes of engaging and competitive time with their peers as they solve each puzzle in order to find the missing Christmas presents. The Christmas Escape Room includes 7 TASKS that students must go through in order to find the presents. By working in teams of 3-5, your pupils will be using a variety of skills throughout the lesson, such as: problem-solving skills, critical thinking, teamwork, communication and even some maths skills! Students will start by reading out a message left by an elf who is requesting their help in finding the missing Christmas presents. From then on, you will give each team the first task and when you receive a correct answer the second task can be given and so on, until they figure out where the presents are hidden. This is a 70-page document that will help your students master verb conjugations in the present, preterite, imperfect, future, and conditional tenses. Each tense is explained and has the corresponding endings present before students begin practicing the conjugations in that particular time tense. As you know, there are exceptions to every rule so there are many irregular verbs present but the majority of the verbs in this booklet are of high-frequency and recommeded to be studied by the AQA guidance. In each tense students have over 50 verbs to conjugate. These verbs are the same for each tense.
