Speed Distance Time Equation Cootie Catcher

Learning about speed, distance, and time using this fun cootie catcher templates. This is great as an engaging activity (plenary) in an introduction lesson to speed. There are two differentiated templates: Cootie catcher has questions and answers about units, making measurements, and equations. Cootie catcher has questions about units, making measurements, and equations. The students have to write in the answers in the cootie catcher. Enjoy!

Radiation badge | Radioactivity GCSE Physics

Radioactivity GCSE Physics I got my pupils to make their own radiation badge to learn about alpha, beta, and gamma radiation’s penetrating power. They cut out ‘photographic films’ and darkened the areas that would be affected when the badge is exposed to each type of radiations. I have included a few versions of the activity so that you can print out the version most suitable for you and your class. Hope this is useful in your pupils’ learning process!

Here’s a game of Articulate for physics revision. I’ve included different coloured decks so that you can put students into different teams. There’s also a key definition sheet. I usually give my students the key definition sheet ahead of time, either for homework or in class (5 to 10 minutes), so that they can memorise the definitions in preparation for the game.
