I know there are a few characters in the puzzles that are not included in the word lists but ALL the characters from the word lists SHOULD be in the puzzles.

2 worksheets, 24 questions with answers Student will have to find the magic number by adding up the given numbers and dividing by 3. The centre number of the grid is this the magic number/3 (or the total/9). Watch out for other resources in this series.

This is just an idea I had for another use for the 700+ fraction diagrams I made for my fractions worksheets. (these diagrams are available to download) I have not tried these worksheets out yet but I foresee that students will have to be quite meticulous to complete them but might also pick up a few things about fractions as well. I hope they will realise that when doing question 4 that it becomes easier if they turn the sheet so the line of reflection is vertical.

A follow on from my ‘SETS A ,B, C and D’ resources where students have to use Pythagoras’ Theorem to find the missing side near the top of a 'Pythagorean STACK’ 4 worksheets + ANSWERS given are FULL CALC. - Rounded to 1.d.p - and SURD form. See other my FREE resources in this set

A basic worksheet that starts off by getting student to find missing values in a table linked by the Pythgorean equation . Only addition, subtraction, squared and square root used. No knowledge of Pythagoras’ Theorem is needed at this stage although a short explanation is given at the top of the worksheet. WITH ANSWERS

Use to improve students identification of 3d - solid - shapes and info about them. This resource is best used on an interactive whiteboard. You will need Adobe Flash Player on your computer (most have it installed as standard) The activity is to Drag a shape into it’s appropriate position. If it is correct it snaps into place. If it’s incorrect it will return to the top. If you click the ? next to each box it gives info about that shape (click the ? again to make it close before proceeding) I have other resources similar to this for 2d shapes and matching formulas to shapes.
