A resource to be used with pupils in class or that they can complete at home to revise Medieval Medicine. Detailed evidence is presented to students who are asked to categorise and evaluate change and continuity and the role of factors. In summary pupils will complete a one-page sheet to sum up the main developments. They are then asked to evaluate two interpretations of Medieval medicine and determine which they agree with the most. There is also a how useful question with structure strip. This has proved really effective when used in class and in interventions. More able students have also been able to use as homework.

Print flashcards out back to back so that pupils can use them to test themselves on key dates. There is also a timeline and and guide to how to use revision flash cards.

All You need to get them started: Student Guides (one for A Level and one for AS) - including every extract question I could find typed so they can also be copied and pasted to PowerPoints for feedback (have not included most recent AQA Exam questions as used for mocks). Cornell Style Note-taking Booklet complete with the 6 Key Questions. Learning Log to train students into good habits - particularly useful for tracking NEA Independent study. Resource Record - great for feedback on flipped learning and for NEA.

This 24 page workbook includes key content with activities to get pupils categorising, evaluating and explaining. For use in class or can be set as homework to ensure that students focus on the key information and understanding they will need to answer AQA questions. Practice questions included with a focus on Explain the significance and compare questions including structure strips. Working through the detailed evidence on cause of disease, treatments, surgery, knowledge of anatomy, public health and healers pupils will compare developments to medieval medicine to assess continuity and change. The significance of the Renaissance Key Individuals is evaluated and the period is summarised on one sheet.
