An assembly presentation that is designed to be used with a form class but could easily be adapted for a whole year group. It contains images, a video, discussion questions and a prayer all around the theme of 'Serving others'. It has been used with key stages 3 and 4. A resource to use with a form class during their worship or registration time. The session is ideal for the start of a new academic year. It includes images, questions for discussion, a video clip, time for reflection and prayer around the theme of a new start. In our school we use these resources for key stages 3 and 4. The resource could easily be adapted for a year group assembly. An assembly resource to be used with a form class. It can easily be adapted for use in a year group assembly. The theme is Time to Reflect. It encourages students to reflect upon their academic year, to think about their report and also to consider the story of Les Paul who pioneered the electric guitar. He didn't let an unfavourable music report stop him from fulfilling his dream!The resource includes a prayer and also a video clip of the legendary Bob Marley playing the legendary Gibson Les Paul guitar. The age range is 11-16.
