A2 Edexcel Geography Revision Sheets

(3)
These A3 Revision Sheets contain everything students need to know from the A2 Edexcel Geography Unit 3 Topics of Energy Security, Biodiversity Under Threat, Superpower Geographies, Bridging the Development Gap, the Technological Fix and Water Conflicts. The sheets are packed with text (and the odd diagram where necessary) and for full benefit, I would advise printing each sheet in double-sided colour A3 as the text will be too small if printed in A4 (alternatively you can read it from a computer screen). These resources aim to act as a one-stop source for everything students need to know for each of the topics. The sheets are best used when students read a chosen sheet and then ask each other questions chosen from areas covered on the sheet they are looking at. There are various text boxes, tables and images covering: - Key terms - Case studies unique to each topic - Geographical processes - Current and future trends - Costs and benefits of management strategies - Key synoptic links between units Students who use these sheets effectively in combination with other resources should be greatly helped to achieve well in their A2 exams. Please note that this resource is appropriate to the Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in Geography (9GE01) (A2-level Geography in short).

Exemplar Essays Tess of the d'Urbervilles

(0)
A set of 3 exemplar essays for the text 'Tess of the d'Urbervilles' by Thomas Hardy. These essays were all written by the same student, and marked by an experienced English teacher who has marked for the exam board. Each essay scored the highest band and marks of between 38-40 out of 40, showing an excellent example of covering the Assessment Objectives and writing fluently. The contents look specifically at aspects of the text which deal with the pastoral genre, including journeys, nature, and love. Please note the texts used and marking criteria are specific to the AQA A-Level English Literature course, but the essay writing format and application of knowledge to the texts are an all-round example of good practice.
