A simple IWB Maths game designed in PowerPoint to support the development of early number skills. Children subitise (see without counting) the snowmen shown in the 5-frame and click on the matching number from 1 to 5.
This is an ideal game to model how to use a 5-frame (subitising snowmen) as part of whole class teaching and learning. This simple number game may also work well as part of a small guided group session.
Different arrangements of snowmen are shown in the 5-frames. This game is easily adaptable to explore one more or one less snowman. (28 slides in length)
