About a Boy: Quiz (KS4) is a fun way of testing pupils’ knowledge of the novel by Nick Hornby. The entertaining ppt quiz features 5 rounds including general knowledge, key quotes, true or false and a creative tie-breaker. The perfect way to revise the novel and have some fun!
This quiz was designed for the new WJEC GSCE coursework exam on the text. It is intended for a mixed ability group at KS4 (14-16 year olds) in a secondary school English class.
It went down a treat with my GCSE class and took about 35 minutes to complete in groups and peer assess. Answer slides included in the ppt.
