An Inspector Calls reading full SOW

The priority for this scheme of work was a first exploration of An inspector Calls including reading the play in class

It introduces characters, themes and key words (omniscient, patriarchy, capitalism, socialism, proxy etc)

It also introduces methods (metaphors, pronouns, dramatic irony, motif, stage directions, dramatic devices)

There are a variety of shorter and longer writing tasks and it could easily be adapted for different abilities. Some tasks are already differentiatated.

There are 12 lessons - but it took my classes longer - about 18 lessons. Plus we did assessments.
