Ancient Egypt (writing myths) SEN

11 lesson scheme planned and delivered to small groups in an SEN setting, introducing some ancient Eygptian myths before outlining the hero’s cycle. The students learn about each section of the structure, plan and draft their writing for each section and then complete an independent big write. Although the scheme is 11 lessons, I personally taught this over more lessons using reading lessons and developmental marking lessons to improve students’ work.

Please note: This scheme contains links to video that are not my own work. You may wish to adapt as you go.
