Pupils sort the cards into true or false, they give lots of ideas for the WJEC Our World unit. I used to use them for a KS3 unit on animal rights

Some challenging true/false questions here on halal and kosher food. I could have done without the 'Muslims can eat human flesh' true/false question. The work does, of course, give the impression that halal/kosher is mainly about meat, when it isn't - it means what is fit and proper....you can get kosher washing up liquid, for example.
