These are revision mats for AQA Combined Science Paper 1. Specifically looking at the topic Electricity. These are both domino style activities where students will make a chain of cards with their answer from the previous card leading directly onto their next question. The first activity is more suited for higher ability students as students are required to match their component to their description/function rather than the name of the component. The second card sort is more suited for lower ability students as this one simply includes the names of the components and their symbols. Plus 2 POINTS PURSUIT: * Electricity Equations * Electricity Topic Revision POINTS PURSUIT is a gamified revision strategy that can be integrated with any rewards system of your choosing and is a nice way to increase competition. Questions start off as low demand at the top and then progressively increase in difficulty as students move down the sheet - please note that I have used this activity style with higher ability classes and many students have started at the bottom to gain the most points and then worked their way up the sheet as an effective strategy.
