AQA GCSE Literature. This publisher booklet encourages the students to think about the poems in a slightly different way. It was originally designed for my more able group. The booklet explains the concept of the 7 deadly sins and has a basic marking token that reminds the students of the elements of the mark scheme. The booklet then has 8 grids that encourages the students to revise the poems whilst thinking about the themes of the sins - students will prove their points with quotations and analyse the effects of these quotations and consider the purpose of including this element in the poem. This ensures that students are considering all the elements of the mark scheme. Finally, there is an exam style question at the end for the student to attempt using their previous notes.
