A lesson to suit Black History Month.

The lesson is based on speech writing with a focus on Martin Luther King.

Looks into DAFORREST techniques and King’s use of symbolism. Then goes into how to use verbs and adjectives to make the writing more powerful.

Goes into detail on how to write speeches and looks into today’s modern problems around the globe so that students can choose a topic of their own to express their views on.

The lesson should last around two hours, all resources are editable, can suit any lesson that needs to teach persuasive writing.
