Procedurally generated questions on Complex Numbers.
The skills build in complexity, and ends with a large section of mixed questions. All questions have answers.

Designed for use by individuals or as a resource from which questions can be taken.
This resource covers the following complex forms to give students a variety of practice:

z = a + bi
z = re^(ix)
z = a (cos ix + i sin ix)

All of these questions are fluency based skills which can be practiced repeatedly until they are second nature. That’s what this is for!

Please: Do not attempt every question in one go.

Contents: (~100 questions per section. It’s a lot.)

  1. Solve z^n equals a real number.
  2. Solve z^n equals a complex number.
  3. Roots of complex cubics.
  4. Complex cubics with a given root missing one coefficient.
  5. Complex cubics with a given root and two missing coefficients.
  6. Arguments of Loci (Min/Max arguments such that z lies within a circle).
  7. Mixed Questions (double sized section).
