A series of two lessons for teaching the control of heart rate- used for AQA A level Biology topic 6, but may be applicable to other boards also. The first lesson covers role of AVN/ SAN in initating a heart beat. Second lesson looks at the role of chemoreceptors and baroreceptors in modifying heart rate.

Some good points of the lesson - but powerpoints do not contain enough detail. Especially on controlling the heart rate and any information to stretch A grade pupils. Not worth £4.
