Children just love learning about dinosaurs! These are ten fun and informative songs I’ve written for the budding palaeontologist. They include, of course, such familiar names as Tyrannosaurus Rex and Stegosaurus but also some lesser known creatures such as Baryonyx Walkerei and Antrodemus.
The songs can be integrated into any unit you may be teaching on the theme of dinosaurs or as a contribution to a music course.
There are some teaching notes and guidelines included in the PDF document which provide some useful advice.

More information about my topic song packs may be found on my web site: www.notablesongs.co.uk

Audio samples of all “Dinosaur” songs can be found at:

https://notablesongs.co.uk/product/dinosaurs-song-pack/

This set of ten songs consists of:

  • 20 mp3 files, with both vocal and piano backing tracks
  • a PDF of the music and lyrics with helpful teacher’s notes
  • an illustrated PowerPoint of each song for use with digital projectors and whiteboards. The audio tracks, vocal and instrumental, are embedded in the PowerPoint - you just have to click on the relevant icon to select vocal or piano only. An additional PowerPoint is included with stave notation.
  • a separate Word document containing the lyrics.

The songs are:

  1. Stegosaurus
  2. Greedy Guts! (Antrodemus)
  3. Hypsilophodon
  4. Baryonyx Walkeri
  5. Tyrannosaurus Rex,
  6. Pachycephalosaurus
  7. Triceratops
  8. Dimetrodon
  9. Plesiosaurus
  10. Pteranodon
