Use this 8.5" x 11" PowerPoint Poster Making resource as a culmination to your own Earth Day or Save the Earth unit.
I use the Super 3 format. Students use the reproducible to PLAN their poster before even touching the computer. This way you can approve their work before the computer fun begins. Then they make (DO) the poster. Finally, after they print it, they REVIEW what they liked about their poster and what they would do differently next time.
I've done this project successfully with 1st grade students just beginning to learn basic computer skills. Step by step teacher directions are provided so you can break the project into simple tasks for the students.
