Each slide focuses on a different fashion illustrator. Each slide has examples of the illustrator's work, defines their key techniques and their key focus.
These are great for getting learners to explore a wider range of techniques.
Here's how I use them:
Print out.
Place pile face down.
Each learners picks one sheet from the top (can't pick and choose).
Learner is to imitate the style of the illustrator using the same techniques, media and focus, but Learner is to use their OWN design development for the work.
This varies the learners approach to media, style and experimentation.
I have also used them where I number the sheets, relate different numbers and illustrators to certain students i.e. student A takes sheet 3 + 11. This way I can differentiate between the levels of my learners depending on their skill and confidence and can plan their best suited illustrators.
