A lesson aimed at year 7 focusing on using filtration to separate mixtures. Has been delivered to a low-ability group but can be easily differentiated by including more challenging exam questions. Includes opportunity to complete sand and water filtration practical, as well as a worksheet to scaffold for LAPs. Uses a short exam question as a reflection/plenary, with mark scheme for corrections.
