I made this resource as a hook into the relevance of Graph Theory (D1). It could alternatively just be used as Maths Enrichment at any level.

Get your students to attempt to colour in the maps using the least number of colours they can, without any adjacent sections being the same colour. Feel free to substitute the map to one more relevant to your area - the beauty of the problem being it doesn't matter which map you choose!

There are comments on the PPT with additional information about the problem itself.
