Fun Spelling Game for Upper Primary!

Hello fellow teachers!

This is a fun spelling game where ALL the words are spelt incorrectly!

Instructions are both here and on the slide on how to play the game!

Save yourself some time and allow your children to have some fun as well as being able to recognise if they can figure out the word and then spell it correctly!

Tried and tested method and the children absolutely LOVE it!

Oops! Something has gone wrong! The following words have been spelled incorrectly! It is your job to fix them as fast as you can!

Here is how to play:

First, make two teams in the classroom.
Next, choose one person to go forward and ready with a marker pen!
Make sure the two chosen people are standing a an equal distance from the whiteboard.
Then, your teacher will reveal the first misspelt word.
Once you see the word make sure you:

§READ THE WORD

§UNDERSTAND WHAT THE WORD COULD BE

§SPELL THE CORRECTED WORD ON THE WHITEBOARD.

§

The first person from either team to finish first AND spell the word correctly, is the WINNER!

Lastly, keep sending forward two new candidates! Keep playing and see which team WINS!
