Google slides reading comprehension unit - Edgar and the Sausage Inspector

This self-guided digital reading comprehension pack is perfect for home learning, remote learning and independent classwork. Audio and video files support learners to complete tasks with a good level of independence. This unit looks at the entertaining tale of Edgar and the Sausage Inspector by Jan Fearnley. It is aimed at Year 2 pupils but will also suit Year 3 pupils and more able/end of year Year 1 pupils.

Students will require a computer, tablet of phone to access the google slides however a printable copy of the unit is included with this download to cater for families without access to a device.

As a bonus, children will also become increasingly competent with the technology involved in completing the self-guided work! The will use technology purposefully to create, organise, store, manipulate and retrieve digital content.
