Hidden Christmas, extend your vocabulary

This presentation designed for potential use as a starter or a plenary activity in English lessons in the period leading up to Christmas. There is also the potential to be used as an activity during a registration/tutorial period or to provide enjoyable meaningful work for a “cover” lesson. The whole presentation contains 9 challenges with 10 questions of increasing difficulty in each challenge.
Students are challenged, individually or in groups, to “decode” the clues and find the missing word that is contained within the letters of each challenge slide.
The whole presentation contains 30 slides including 9 slides in black and white which may be printed to facilitate written work.
