The Royal Palace, Udaipur, India. The Maharana of Mewar presides over the Hindu festival of Holi, a joyous event dedicated to the god Vishnu in celebration of the rebirth of spring. Maharaja: The Splendor of India's Royal Courts will be view at the Asian Art Museum from October 21, 2011 through April 8, 2012.
