Introduction & expectations: first lesson

This is a presentation that I use with pupils coming back from a long summer break! Year 7’s presentation includes an activity that allows the students to work on their maths skills which also helps me remember some names! Year 7’s presentation takes the whole lesson (which is usually shorter than normal on the first day)!

The starter activity for year 8-11 is just reminding pupils of classroom expectations and allowing them to define how those expectations manifests in a classroom setting! This does not take the whole lesson!
