This updated planning for 2020 is based on the alternative version of Jack and the Beanstalk, the amazing picture book ‘Jack and the Baked Beanstalk.’ This would be suitable to be adapted to other year groups between Year 1 and Year 3. My Year 2 class really enjoyed it! I have added the cold and hot writing template and the Venn diagram as well. The images for helping with the storyboarding are easily available through a good search, but haven’t included due to copyright issues.

There is nothing here that really aids anyone else in teaching this unit. 4 days of planning of which one is not related to the book at all. Very basic.
