- Close text analysis of the transformation of Jane.
- Analysis of Jane as both an independent and dependent woman in the Victorian Era and the message that Bronte was wishing to make.
- An examination of how Bronte uses Bessie as a device and the importance of the information she tells Jane
- Analysis of Jane’s changing views about Lowood and her desire for a new challenge.
