A PowerPoint presentation with animations and linked pages - to be used alongside a Jenga set with individually numbered blocks 1 - 30 (allowing some to be blank or you could number more if desired). The presentation contains a main slide with 30 numbered boxes that each link to a separate slide with a simple layout of the number (to confirm it’s the right one) and a brand logo for students to guess. All logos are in black and white to make it slightly more difficult for students to identify. Animations have been used so the correct answer will reveal itself from behind a coloured box when clicked. There is also an arrow in the bottom right corner of each slide which will take you back to the main slide to continue the game, when clicked. As mentioned you could add more numbered Jenga pieces and brands with answers to the presentation as desired so there is one for every piece of the Jenga game (54 I believe). I’ve tried to incorporate brands that aren’t too typical of logo quizzes/too easy but should be recognisable-ish/ones that they’ve heard of somewhere before/will at least start a conversation if no one can figure it out…!

Brands: Lacoste, Vans, Under Armour, Sketckers, The North Face, Slazenger, Puma, Callaway, Rockstar Games, EA Sports, Xbox, Dove, The Body Shop, Converse, Louis Vuitton, Polo Ralph Lauren, Versache, Coco Chanel, Jaguar, Gucci, Cartier, PlayStation, Audemars Piguet, Bentley, HP Hewlett-Packard, Ferrari, Nestle, Unilever, Harley Davidson.

I like to think this is kind of an investment as once you’ve got a numbered Jenga set you could personalise the presentation to test for other things (literally anything) just by changing the images and answers on each slide - the main slide, animations and interlinking slides will always be ready to go! (This is the bit that took the most time!) Could be used for teambuilding activities, during induction week/welcome days etc.

Suggestions for the game: students have to answer individually, no help and first answer has to be accepted as final, but perhaps allowing students to ‘phone a friend’ if they get really stuck on identifying the brand but only that person can help them. Also splitting the class into 2 teams so they can earn 1 point per correct brand to encourage extra competition within the class and to acknowledge correct answers beyond trying not to be the losing team that causes the tower to fall.
