Four fun and engaging space-themed creative writing lessons. Perfect to use in the final weeks of term.

Lessons can be used with a variety of KS3 classes. I have used them with both a middle-ability year nine set and a low-ability year eight set. With both classes, the lessons were a real success - students were fully engaged, even continuing with the project at home by choice!

Students will be leading a mission to a newly-discovered planet. Tasks include: writing a newspaper article about the discovery of the planet; writing a scene where you must leave your loved ones; writing a letter to NASA about your first 24 hours on the planet; and writing a story about an encounter with an alien creature.
