These questions are for a five-and-a-half-minute video.

Brief, beautifully presented, highly detailed, mixing narration with seldom-seen contemporary photographs. The History Channel film covers: political context prior to the incident, Nixon’s expansion foments more anti-war protest; peaceful rallies at Kent State University, police response, Mayor Satrom calls in the National Guard; ROTC building burned, Governor Rhodes bans demonstrations; Armed Guardsmen open fire, was there a sniper? Four killed – named, nine injured; White House demonstration; two killed at Jackson; backlash by conservatives; 1972 election.

Differentiated! Both versions look very similar, but “B” version has subtle clues. Answer sheet. Questions right up to the end, no slack time! 16 questions for the 5’ 32” film. A very thorough summary, ideal for revision. .doc and .pdf of all sheets, link to video on all sheets. Very easy to mark.

Please check that you can access the video before you download these sheets. All the links work when I upload. If my links no longer work, the videos may still be found elsewhere on YouTube.
